Economic efficiency of grape farming under plastic house with different cropping type and training system was studied to provide the information for the farmer´s decision-making. Data were collected from 60 farms in the major grape production areas by interview and field observation, and analyzed by table analysis and budgeting method. The result of survey indicated that the average farm size per farm was 25a - 26.3a for heated plastic house grape, and about 50a for field grape. The ratio of heated house grape area to field grape area was about 50% because heated house grape needed rotation with field grape production at least every two years. Marketing period Campbell Early was about one month from the end of May to the beginning of July heated plastic house, from the end of June to the beginning of August in non-heated plastic house, and from mid-August to mid-September in rain shelter and field. The income per l0a with heated and non heated plastic house was much higher than that of rain shelter and field early marketing. Technically advanced farms were characterized by high yield and high quality products, and high input of organic fertilizer and low input of chemicals. The suitable farm size of plastic house determined by family labor revealed the grape farm with 30a needed 15a of heated house grape culture and 15a of field culture with the income of 22,314,000 won. The grape farm with 40a should provide 16a for heated plastic house grape culture and 24a for field grape with got total income of 30,765..000 won. The grape farm with 60a needed 15a of heated house culture and 45a of field culture, expecting 37,376,000 won. The grape farm with 80a size should be composed composed 33.6a of heated culture and 66.4a of field culture. The level of total income was 37,796,000 won. This is the same income level of the grape farming with 60a. So the grape farm with 60a was more efficient than that with 50a.
